Launching its first channel, the Cambodian Television Network (CTN) in 2003, which took the country by storm not only with its cutting edge entertainment and innovative programming, but with its world-class broadcasting standards as well. In less than a year since its launch CTN was ranked as the number 1 TV channel based on ratings – a status that it maintains until this very day.
In 2004 with CTN International, it has become the first Khmer channel to be available overseas, and by 2008 it has been broadcasting in three different countries around the globe: the USA, Australia, and France.
CBS made another breakthrough with the launch of Cambodia’s first-ever youth oriented channel in 2009; MyTV is the forefront of bringing the modern Cambodian what they want with unique genres the country has never seen before.
MyTV gained the number 2 position in the market in 2012, and has grown stronger and stronger from then. The same year, CBS launched CNC, a channel dedicated to bringing every Khmer household the latest and most up-to-date news about what’s happening in Cambodia and abroad.
