Introduction:

Academy Chemical Group is a private owned local firm founded in 1990 by a local businessman. The owner started the firm with a retail shop supplying raw chemicals for laboratory and industrial use. A year later, the firm produced liquid detergent, disinfectant, leather polishing wax and liquid soap for wall and floor textiles with the brand name of “Academy”. ACG started export/import Company named “Dartu Myanmar” in 2000.

Academy Chemical Group now has become one of the successful chemicalsuppliers in Myanmar market. ACG has one wholesale and retail shop in downtown area of Yangon where the business capital of Myanmar is and most of the businesses are located in. ACG has two factories and two warehouses in Yangon Industrial Zone, running together with total 86 employees, producing maximum 250 dozens of liquid detergents per day.
